Blog – WFP in France

We are proud to annouce, UC Davis Viticulture and Enology Master of Science student Robert Fiore has been awarded the prestigious Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin Fellowship for Fall 2014. This is one of the highest honors a winemaking student from the United States can receive. He will be working in France at Domaine Michel Lafarge in Volnay, Burgundy throughout the 2014 harvest season.
Domaine Michel Lafarge produces exceptionally elegant Pinot noirs from multiple Volnay premier cru vineyards (Clos des Chênes, Les Caillerets, Les Mitans, Clos du Château des Ducs), Pommard premier cru vineyard Les Pezerolles, and Beaune premier cru vineyards (Les Aigrots and Grèves), along with some fine Meursault.
